Description

Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department position supporting an obstetric maternal unit and nursery. The role provides care in a 24-bed setting with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum responsibilities, including overnight coverage and call participation.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Two years of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; degree accreditation documentation or five years of relevant experience.
Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour call requirement during one calendar month.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The position supports an obstetric maternal Level 2 unit and a nursery Level 1 unit. Typical staffing ratios are 1:2 for labor and 1:3 to 1:4 for postpartum care. Holiday time off cannot be accommodated.
