Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse Tacoma, WA. This travel assignment supports an operating room team specializing in orthopedic procedures, including total joint and robotic cases. The role requires strong circulating skills, DaVinci XI experience, adaptability, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of experience with strong orthopedic experience or 2 years of experience otherwise; ability to circulate orthopedic, robotic, laparoscopic, urology, general, bariatric, ophthalmology, podiatry, and gynecologic procedures; DaVinci XI experience required; professional, self-motivated, flexible, and able to anticipate patient needs while working effectively within a team.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hana Table, Zimmer Biomet Rosa, Depuy Velys, and laparoscopic procedures.
- Schedule: Day shift beginning at 6:45 a.m.; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week. No weekends or holidays are required.
- Additional Information: The operating room includes eight rooms and supports a high volume of orthopedic, total joint, bariatric, robotic, laparoscopic, and other surgical procedures. Electronic medical record systems and equipment include EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and DaVinci XI. Orientation includes three days with a preceptor.
