Job Summary

Surgical Technician, Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician. This 13-week assignment supports surgical procedures during day shifts with variable start times based on case schedules. The role requires strong orthopedic experience, sterile processing expertise, and proficiency with surgical standards and practices.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Start times are typically 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with potential start times of 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or 9:00 a.m., depending on scheduled cases.
• Assignment: 13 weeks, from 11/16/2026 through 02/13/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license; graduation from a certified surgical technologist program or related field; associate degree or certificate; minimum of 2 years of experience; strong orthopedic experience; demonstrated sterile processing experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves preparing and handling standard surgical supplies and instruments, supporting operating room procedures, and following established surgical standards and practices. On-call responsibilities include 12 weekday assignments per week from the end of the shift until 7:00 a.m. the following day, as well as every fourth weekend from Friday through 7:00 a.m. Monday. Holiday on-call coverage is required, and holiday shifts are not scheduled. Scrub attire is provided.
