Job Summary

Emergency Room position available for a travel assignment beginning 11/30/2026. The role provides emergency care across a broad range of patient populations, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Two years of emergency care experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; required Epic experience; ability to manage an approximately 1:4 patient ratio.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience.
Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., three shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; block scheduling may be available; weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Additional Information: Emergency care responsibilities may include triage, management of acute and behavioral health conditions, care of ventilated patients, central line and chest tube management, blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia management, stroke and trauma care, seizure management, and care for patients experiencing overdose, burns, spinal cord injury, or traumatic brain injury. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
