Job Summary

Emergency Room position supporting acute care services in a fast-paced emergency department. The role provides care for a variable patient population, including trauma and STEMI cases, with opportunities to support triage and other emergency department functions.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Michigan license in hand; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA); at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Schedule: Evening shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
• Additional Information: Acute care setting with Trauma Level IV designation, approximately 4060 patients treated per day, two trauma bays, designated fast-track rooms, and separate triage rooms. Travelers may participate in triage following review of applicable policies and procedures. Emergency physicians are available in-house 24/7, with respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, imaging, and computed tomography services available. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, and holiday coverage may be required. Orientation includes computer-based training and two days of floor orientation. Solid-color, clean, and professional attire is required.
