Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR), location not specified. This position supports an ambulatory surgery setting with a high volume of orthopedic and other surgical procedures. The role requires strong Operating Room experience and participation in day shifts without call or weekend requirements.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic procedures, including total joint procedures, scopes, fractures, or podiatry; scrubbing experience is helpful.
• Schedule: Day shifts are 8 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No call or weekend shifts are required.
• Additional Information: The ambulatory surgery department includes 10 operating suites and two procedure rooms, with an average of 4050 cases per day. Common procedures include orthopedic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary, ear, nose, and throat, and ophthalmology cases. Modified self-scheduling may be available, and orientation is expected to last approximately 35 days.
