Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. The Registered Nurse performs independent nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards and applicable state requirements. The position assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while providing health teaching, counseling, therapy, treatment, and referrals as needed.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous Registered Nurse experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; unit- or service-appropriate certification preferred.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Assignment dates are 11/23/2026 through 02/13/2027.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include ongoing health-status assessment, nursing care planning, documentation, treatment-plan monitoring, patient referrals, resource utilization, and supervision or teaching of others as appropriate. The Registered Nurse may be required to participate in on-call coverage during a regularly scheduled shift and perform other duties as assigned.
