Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit nursing position with overnight shifts. The role provides care for young adult through late adult patients in a 36-bed stepdown setting, including complex medical, neurological, trauma, and postoperative conditions. The position supports a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 48 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/22/2026 through 02/20/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Professional license with license and certificate verification; completion of a clinical skills checklist; two professional references.
- Additional Information: The 36-bed progressive care unit serves patients requiring continuous BiPAP, low-dose vasopressors, trauma care, lumbar drains, higher-dose Ativan management for CIWA patients, hyponatremia management, emergency dialysis, hyperkalemia treatment, antifreeze ingestion care, home ventilators and tracheostomies, sheath removal, CEA procedures, rhabdomyolysis care, Precedex infusions, stroke care with neurological checks every two hours, stable craniotomy care, and fentanyl infusions. Patients range from young adults through late adults, ages 18 and older.
