Job Summary

Registered Nurse Emergency Room. This night-shift position provides emergency care in a rural setting, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently with limited overnight coverage. The role may occasionally flex to a midday shift.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room experience; previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital; active New Hampshire license; current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC).
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with occasional flexibility to a midday shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The Emergency Room may be staffed by one registered nurse overnight, with a house coordinator available as backup. The position requires solid emergency-care skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
