Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room, Fort Mohave, Arizona. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support scheduled and emergency surgical procedures in a six-room operating suite and endoscopy unit. The role provides care for primarily adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases, and participates in shared on-call coverage.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active Compact Registered Nurse (RN) or Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; one to two years of acute-care experience; registered nursing education.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; experience with general, endoscopy, orthopedic, obstetric, and gynecologic procedures, including scheduled and emergency cesarean sections.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week; weekend coverage is limited to on-call assignments, with call shared evenly among operating room Registered Nurses and typically beginning at 5:00 p.m.
• Additional Information: The role supports a patient population consisting primarily of outpatient cases, with some inpatient procedures. Responsibilities include caring for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in the operating room and endoscopy setting. Scrubs are provided.
