Description
Job Summary
CVOR CST Operating Room Open Heart. The position supports cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures in a daytime operating room setting. Responsibilities include independently scrubbing, assisting, and passing instruments during coronary artery bypass grafting and valve replacement procedures, as well as vascular surgeries.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 8 hours per shift and 40 hours per week. On-call coverage may be required 1015 times per month, with availability for nights and weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience; National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to independently scrub, assist, and pass instruments for coronary artery bypass grafting procedures, valve replacements, and all vascular procedures.
