Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Clyde, NC: The position provides emergency care for primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases, in a 17-bed emergency department. The role requires clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to safely care for patients across varying acuity levels during 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; at least an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); 23 or more years of emergency department experience; and at least 1 year of travel experience.
• Additional Information: Patient care includes conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric presentations. The role involves recognizing changes in patient status, responding appropriately to varying acuity levels, maintaining effective teamwork, and participating in self-scheduling. Navy blue scrubs are required.
