Job Summary

Registered Nurse Operating Room Open Heart. The position provides safe, competent nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. The role supports patient-centered care, service excellence, and professional collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with call coverage that may include weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or National League for Nursing-approved registered nursing program; current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state or district; Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience; at least 3 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Operating Room experience that includes both scrubbing and circulating may be considered with at least 1 year of experience.
Additional Information: The role supports procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. Responsibilities include providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while delivering care in accordance with established policies, standards, and patient-centered care principles.
