Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Bradenton, Florida. This travel position supports a 12-bed Burn Intensive Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio and night-shift coverage. The role requires critical care expertise, strong attention to detail, autonomy, and effective teamwork in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications; critical care training required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Burn and wound care experience.
- Additional Information:
- Supports a 12-bed Burn Intensive Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio.
- Common procedures include excision and debridement, reattachments, vascular procedures, and skin grafting.
- Equipment includes bedside monitors, wound vacuums, EV1000 monitoring, ventilators, warming devices, heat lamps, and Arctic Sun temperature-management equipment.
- The position requires participation in every other weekend and holiday rotations in accordance with facility policy.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, autonomous, and team-focused.
