Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry Manchester, NH. This position supports patients receiving specialized cardiac care, including post-procedure recovery and cardiac medication management. The role provides care within a 24-bed unit with telemetry monitoring and a patient ratio of 1:4.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; charge experience; knowledge of telemetry; ability to care for patients following transcatheter aortic valve replacement, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, and Watchman procedures; experience managing cardiac drips.
- Additional Information:
- Patient care includes telemetry monitoring and management of patients with cardiac conditions.
- Procedures associated with the unit include transcatheter aortic valve replacement, ablations, Watchman procedures, ST-elevation myocardial infarction care, pacemaker procedures, and CardioMEMS procedures.
- Staffing support includes a charge nurse, patient care technicians, and monitor technicians.
- Floating may occur to like units.
