Description

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This position provides nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The role requires current nursing licensure, essential life-support certifications, and recent nursing experience.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
- Procedural sedation competency.
- At least 2 years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment.
- At least 2 years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in an emergency department, intensive care unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment.
- At least 2 years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting.
- At least 2 years of experience with pain management injection procedures.
Additional Information:
- Assignment period is scheduled from 12/01/2026 through 02/27/2027.
