Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Surgical nursing position supporting acutely ill patients in a high-acuity surgical intensive care setting. The role provides patient-centered care across general surgery, trauma, transplant, and cardiothoracic surgery while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend. Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 05/29/2027.
- Required Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts nursing license required at submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- At least 1 year of experience in intensive care and telemetry
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for patients requiring advanced acute therapies in a high-acuity surgical intensive care environment
- Clinical specialties include general surgery, trauma, transplant, and cardiothoracic surgery
- A day-one pass/fail assessment will be administered
- Proficiency with medications and dysrhythmia management is required
