Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Long Term Acute Care Los Angeles. The position delivers coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups while supervising nursing staff and coordinating interdisciplinary care. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions, patient and family education, discharge planning, and delegation of care-team duties.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Spanish-language proficiency
- Additional Information:
- Provides safe, healing, humane, and compassionate care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collects and analyzes patient data to identify diagnoses, care needs, and desired outcomes.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care.
- Provides health education to patients, families, and care-team members.
- Coordinates care delivery, delegates duties appropriately, and supports continuity of care through discharge planning.
- Electronic medical record experience is required.
- Assignment dates are 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027.
