Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab, Farmington, CT. This position supports cardiac and peripheral procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care, moderate sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring. The assignment is scheduled for 1620 weeks with 10-hour day shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; on-call nights and weekends as needed. Assignment dates are 12/07/2026 through 03/11/2027.
- Required Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one year of current experience in surgical cardiology, critical care, and/or post-anesthesia care
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with moderate sedation
- Pre- and post-procedure care experience
- Hemodynamic monitoring experience
- Experience with cardiac and peripheral procedures
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- Additional Information:
- Previous travel experience is not required.
- Two of the three holidays may be included in the assignment schedule.
- Requested time off must be presented at the time of submission.
- Two full days of orientation are held on Mondays.
- COVID-19 medical or religious exemptions are accepted.
