Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Main operating room and open-heart experience required.
  • Call coverage includes approximately 1015 on-call shifts per month, including 12 weekends per month.
  • The position primarily supports main operating room cases, with occasional heart cases.
  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, care coordination, implementation of interventions, outcome evaluation, patient and family education, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation of duties.
  • Required vaccinations apply in accordance with organizational policy, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable.
