<p>Registered Nurse (RN), Lactation Specialist  Forest Hills, NY. The Lactation Specialist provides breastfeeding education and support, leads daily discharge classes, and completes assessments related to breastfeeding care. The role includes reviewing relevant documentation in the electronic health record.</p>
<p>Job Details</p>
<ul>
<li>Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM4:00 PM, Monday through Friday; alternative schedules of 9:00 AM5:00 PM or 10:00 AM6:00 PM may be considered. Minimum of 40 hours per week.</li>
<li>Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license</li>
<li>International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification</li>
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li>
<li>Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials certification</li>
</ul>

<li>Additional Information:
<ul>
<li>Provide breastfeeding education and support.</li>
<li>Conduct daily discharge classes.</li>
<li>Complete breastfeeding-related assessments.</li>
