Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Department Paris, Texas. This position provides emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a Level III trauma environment. The role includes a 12-hour night shift schedule and requires current certifications and Texas licensure before the assignment begins.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience
  • Current Texas registered nurse licensure
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
  • HWC
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for patients of all ages.
  • Emergency department includes 19 beds and 9 freestanding emergency department beds.
  • Patient ratios are approximately 1:4.
  • Weekend coverage is every other weekend or as needed.
  • Call coverage may be required as needed.
  • Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
  • Black scrubs are required; casual wear is not permitted.
