Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Juneau, Alaska This position supports Operating Room (OR) services as a surgical circulator for elective and emergency procedures. The role requires efficient multitasking, coordination of surgical cases, and participation in after-hours call coverage for nights, holidays, and weekends.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska at the time of submission.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
- Three years of Operating Room (OR) circulator experience.
- Current influenza vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Experience in a critical access or rural Operating Room (OR) setting.
Additional Information:
- Provides circulating support for abdominal, thoracic, urology, ear, nose, and throat, plastic surgery, orthopedic, vascular, and obstetrics and gynecology procedures.
- Supports elective and emergency surgical cases.
- After-hours call coverage may include nights, holidays, and weekends.
- The anticipated start date is 12/28/2026.
- Fingerprint processing may require at least six weeks before the assignment start date.
