The position supports adult patients undergoing procedures such as colon cancer screenings and evaluations for rectal bleeding, with a rotating schedule totaling 30 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 30 hours per week; no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of endoscopy experience
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current or conditional Massachusetts registered nurse license
  • Seasonal influenza vaccination required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) certification
  • Epic electronic medical record experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Outpatient endoscopy setting focused on elective procedures
  • Patient population ranges from 18 to 95 years of age
  • Common conditions include colon cancer screenings and rectal bleeding
  • No block scheduling
  • Scrub color is unrestricted
  • Clinical areas include four procedure rooms, five preoperative bays, and five post-anesthesia care unit bays
