Job Summary

Medical Surgical With Telemetry. This 13-week assignment supports care for medical-surgical patients with telemetry needs, including patients boarding in the Emergency Department. The role averages approximately 40 patients per day awaiting inpatient beds, with typical staffing ratios of 5:1.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts nursing license
  • Level I trauma experience
  • Experience caring for boarding patients in the Emergency Department
  • Electronic health record experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks, from 11/30/2026 through 02/27/2027.
  • Care involves medical-surgical patients with telemetry needs who are boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient beds.
  • Day-one telemetry testing is required.
  • Practice tests are completed during onboarding and must be passed within two attempts during compliance.
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at submission; minimal time off is preferred.
  • Applicants previously affiliated with the healthcare provider must have been separated for at least six months and remain in good standing.
  • Any color of scrubs is acceptable.
