Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Floor. The position provides comprehensive nursing care through patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. The role coordinates with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team to support safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, a temporary or interim Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting for travel acute care positions, including experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
  • Maintenance of clinical performance competencies appropriate to the practice area.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Professional certification.
  • Additional related education or experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Assesses physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
  • Provides direct patient care, coordinates services, delegates appropriately, and supervises licensed and non-licensed personnel as applicable.
  • Documents assessments, interventions, patient responses, care plans, and physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participates in patient education, orientation, mentoring, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and professional development activities.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, stretch, assist with patient transfers, and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
  • Must use standard precautions when exposed to blood or bodily fluids and communicate effectively through reading, writing, speaking, and telephone communication.
  • Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 02/27/2027.
  • COVID-19 religious exemptions are not permitted.
