Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Telemetry Portland. The position delivers coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or patient group while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent judgment. Responsibilities include coordinating interdisciplinary care, supervising assigned nursing staff, promoting patient safety, and supporting continuity of care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Assignment dates are 12/07/2026 through 01/31/2027.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Additional Information:
- Collects and analyzes patient data to identify diagnoses, care issues, and desired outcomes.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
- Coordinates care delivery and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates the activities of healthcare team members.
- Provides health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members.
- Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
