Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Long-Term Acute Care. The Registered Nurse provides patient care using the nursing process, sound clinical judgment, and scientific decision-making in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. The role includes leadership, care delegation, supervision of assigned personnel, and maintenance of clinical competencies through continuing education.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Florida Registered Nurse license or a multistate compact Registered Nurse license.
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience.
- Knowledge of central-line care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care to long-term acute care patients using the nursing process.
- Anticipates and plans for safe care delivery.
- Delegates patient-care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff.
- Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Assignment dates are 12/02/2026 through 03/02/2027.
