Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room Lodi, California. Provides coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent judgment. The role also directs assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, supports patient education and discharge planning, and promotes a safe, healing environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing.
  • Acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Delivers coordinated care according to established standards and the nursing process.
  • Collects and analyzes patient data to identify diagnoses and care needs.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support safe and effective care.
  • Provides health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members.
  • Participates in discharge planning to promote continuity of care.
  • Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members.
  • On-call responsibilities may be required six times over a six-week period.
