Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Floor, Marquette, Michigan. This position provides nursing care for patients across neuro, orthopedic, and pediatric services, including trauma and postoperative care. The role supports a collaborative care environment serving patients of all ages over 28 days.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- At least 2 years of experience caring for adult patients
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Pediatric experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for patients across neuro, orthopedic, and pediatric services.
- Patient population includes all ages over 28 days.
- Common clinical needs include trauma, postoperative orthopedic and neurological care, and general pediatric care.
- Teamwork and collaboration are essential.
- No call requirement.
- Weekend coverage is scheduled for 3 weekends every 6 weeks.
