Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room (ER) Multiple locations. The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides care for patients across all age groups in a fast-paced emergency setting, including patients requiring stroke-related care. The role includes rotating 12-hour shifts, patient assignments with a 1:4 ratio, and collaboration with interdisciplinary support services.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required no more than every other weekend. No on-call requirement.
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
  • Valid compact state license in hand.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Emergency care for patients across all age groups.
  • Typical emergency department patient presentations, including stroke-related cases.
  • Expected patient ratio of 1:4.
  • Clinical skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction or failure management, central line care, continuous intravenous sedation, intravenous vasopressor administration, bilevel positive airway pressure and continuous positive airway pressure management, arterial blood gas interpretation, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, personal protective equipment use, and triage.
  • A personal vehicle is required for the assignment.
