Job Summary
Medical-Surgical Neurology Floor travel assignment for a registered nursing professional. The role provides care to adult and geriatric patients in a 32-bed setting, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. The assignment includes night shifts, no call requirement, and support from interdisciplinary clinical services.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; 36- or 48-hour options are available. The assignment runs from 11/23/2026 through 02/22/2027.
- Required Qualifications: One year of recent experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Pending certifications may be accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
- Additional Information:
- Care is provided to adult and geriatric patient populations.
- The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
- No call is required.
- Six weekend shifts are required within a six-week period.
- Responsibilities may include rapid response team activation and care involving central lines, chest tubes, feeding tubes, surgical drains, wound care, oxygen therapy, insulin, heparin, isolation precautions, peripheral lines, phlebotomy, and intravenous therapy.
