Job Summary

RN, Operating Room, Charlotte, NC The registered nurse will provide perioperative care in an operating room setting, circulating surgical cases across multiple specialties. The role requires experience with orthopedic, vascular, gynecologic, robotic, general, urologic, ear, nose, and throat, ophthalmic, pain, plastic, and oral and maxillofacial procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts are 10 hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation may be required based on operational needs, including scheduled shifts or call.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of operating room experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience circulating orthopedic, total joint, vascular, gynecologic, robotic, general, urologic, ear, nose, and throat, ophthalmic, pain, plastic, or oral and maxillofacial cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Operating room scrub experience preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Approximately six call shifts may be scheduled during each six-week cycle, including holidays.
  • Call assignments require a 30-minute response time.
  • Departmental orientation is provided following general employee orientation.
  • Robotic surgical experience with the da Vinci XI system is applicable.
  • Scrub attire is provided.
