Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit. This position provides care for critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, and cardiovascular conditions. The role requires prior travel experience, active nursing certifications, and the ability to float to medical-surgical units as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Four or more years of Intensive Care Unit experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
- Current state or compact nursing license
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for patients with respiratory failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, overdose, detoxification needs, congestive heart failure, and complex postoperative surgical conditions.
- Assignment dates are 11/29/2026 through 01/23/2027.
- Clinical documentation is completed through an electronic medical record system.
