Job Summary

Certified First Surgical Assistant Richmond, VA. This position supports operating room procedures across multiple surgical specialties, including robotics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine, general, plastics, and urology. The role requires strong teamwork, clinical versatility, and participation in scheduled call coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Virginia license; robotic surgery experience; orthopedic surgery experience; neurosurgery or spine surgery experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports a 16-room operating department with a 1:1 patient ratio.
  • Procedures include all surgical services except transplant and cardiac surgery.
  • Experience with robotic, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, and orthopedic equipment is relevant.
  • Call rotation averages two shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary or backup coverage.
  • Facility-provided scrubs are worn.
  • A collaborative team-oriented approach is preferred.
  • One position is available.
