Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Los Angeles area. Provides coordinated nursing care for critically ill patients while applying the nursing process, clinical judgment, and established standards of care. The role also supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and supports safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Additional Information:
- Collects and analyzes patient data to identify diagnoses, care issues, and desired outcomes.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
- Coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe, healing, and compassionate environment.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support comprehensive care.
- Provides health education to patients, families, and members of the care team.
- Participates in discharge planning to promote continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members.
- Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
