Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room. This acute-care role supports surgical services across orthopedic, general, gynecologic, trauma, total joint, ear, nose, and throat, podiatric, urologic, and robotic procedures. Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing, with participation in scheduled call coverage.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with circulating experience; scrub experience is required for registered nurses; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); active license required for submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Call schedule includes six weeknight 12-hour call shifts and two weekend 24-hour call shifts per six-week schedule.
- One holiday call assignment is required.
- Call response time is 30 minutes.
- Average daily case volume is 815 cases.
- Surgical services include orthopedic, general, gynecologic, trauma, total joint, ear, nose, and throat, podiatric, urologic, and robotic procedures.
- Operating room technicians are available.
- Orientation occurs during the first week of onboarding.
