Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart position for an unspecified location. The role supports acute care surgical services and requires open-heart operating room experience, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, and thoracotomy procedures. The position includes evening scheduling, required call coverage, and first-to-float responsibilities.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evening shift with 12-hour mids scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., a minimum of 36 hours per week, required call coverage, and every-other-weekend scheduling.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- COVID-19 vaccination certification
- Professional license required for submission
- Additional Information:
- Acute care setting
- Coronary artery bypass grafting experience required
- Aortic valve replacement experience required
- Mitral valve replacement experience required
- Thoracotomy experience required
- First-to-float responsibility
- Electronic charting system used
