Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry Thousand Oaks, CA. The position provides care for cardiac and neurological patients in a telemetry unit. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and support for patients recovering from cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation; intravenous (IV) starts; chest tube management.
• Additional Information:
  • Patient assignment ratio of 4:1.
  • Care includes patients recovering from cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, ablation, left atrial appendage closure, valve repair, and cardioversion.
  • Three to four weekend shifts per month.
  • No on-call requirement.
  • Successful candidates demonstrate strong communication skills, dependability, and the ability to learn quickly.
