We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team in Johnson City, New York. This position offers an 8-hour day shift schedule with a commitment of 36 guaranteed hours per week. As a member of the Float Pool, you will have the unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population across various units. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will use your expertise in pharmacology to safely administer medications and educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management. This role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. A graduate from an accredited Nursing program is required, along with a current NYS RN License and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, professional certification in a related specialty, and experience in acute care or ambulatory settings.
