Join our team as a Night Shift Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Utica, New York. This travel contract offers guaranteed 36 hours per week with shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be working with a 64-bed unit, primarily managing stroke stepdown patients and cases involving conditions like stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, pneumonia, pulmonary issues, and general med-surg diagnoses. The role requires experience with IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes. Floating may be required, and the dress code is navy blue scrubs. Key requirements for this role include a minimum of 2 years of relevant MS experience with a focus on stroke stepdown, travel nursing experience, and proficiency with EPIC EMR. Candidates must hold a valid NY RN license and current certifications in AHA BLS and NIHSS (can be obtained prior to the start date).
