Join a dynamic healthcare team in Rochester, New York, as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This travel/contract role offers an exciting 12-hour day shift schedule, alternating between 11 AM-11 PM and 7 PM-7 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You'll be providing care for a diverse adult and geriatric population with critical emergency diagnoses. The position requires an active New York Single State RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with EPIC charting is a must. Key responsibilities include IV therapy, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, emergency care, triage, and managing neuro and trauma cases. Candidates should be skilled in handling high-acuity patients and emergency situations. The department is equipped with advanced technology, including rapid infusers, Bair huggers, and safe patient handling systems.
