Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department in Clifton Springs, New York. This is a travel/contract position with a 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and three shifts per week. The role also includes working every other weekend. With guaranteed 36 hours weekly, this position offers a stable and consistent schedule. As an ER RN, you will work in an 11-bed medical emergency department, featuring a dedicated Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) unit. The CPEP unit is divided into an evaluation space for up to six patients and an extended observation space for two patients, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Key responsibilities include triaging, medical clearance of patients, and performing procedures such as lab work and EKGs. The unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, patient care technicians, and a behavioral health team. Staff may alternate shifts between different areas of the ED for a dynamic work experience. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. EPIC experience is mandatory for charting.
