Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room jobs at the facility in Libertyville, IL let you deliver fast-paced care in a Level I trauma center with a 45-bed emergency department. You will assess, triage, and treat patients with acute medical and trauma needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Illinois RN license. At least five years of emergency department experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is recommended. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is acceptable with a commitment to complete BSN within four years. Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, adaptability to high-acuity environments, and effective communication. Experience with trauma protocols and EMR systems is valuable.
