Simplified RN Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week
Weekends: Rotation required
Holidays: Rotation required
Experience: No experience required; previous nursing experience preferred
Patient Care: General inpatient nursing / direct patient care

Main Responsibilities

Assess patients and identify their needs
Create and follow individualized care plans
Give medications, treatments, and nursing procedures
Monitor patients and report changes in condition
Educate patients and families
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare staff
Delegate tasks to nursing team members
Document patient care
Participate in quality and safety programs

Requirements

Active RN license
BLS required
Education: ADN or ASN required
BSN not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to use computer/healthcare systems

Bottom Line

This is a general RN position with day shifts (7 AM–7 PM), 3×12 schedule, and rotating weekends/holidays. New graduate RNs can qualify because no prior experience is required.
