Description
Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) – Hematology
Department: Hematology – Clinical Laboratory
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 8 days on / 6 days off
Contract Length: 6-month commitment preferred
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) to support the Hematology Department. This position will work exclusively in the Coagulation and Urinalysis sections, performing laboratory testing and ensuring accurate, timely results.
Requirements
- ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- West Virginia High Complexity Testing Personnel (HCTP) License or Trainee License.
- Experience with Epic Beaker preferred.
- Coagulation and urinalysis experience preferred.
- BLS not required.
- No phlebotomy or direct patient contact.
