GLC Government Services is hiring an IV Pharmacist

📍 Location: NIH, Bethesda, MD

💵 Pay: $68/hour

📅 Schedule: Full-time, contract. Flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays). 

Sample shift times range from 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (any U.S. state/territory/DC)
• PharmD (preferred)
• Current BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong background in sterile compounding & IVAU operations (required)
• PGY1/PGY2 residency (preferred)
• Experience in infusion services, unit dose distribution, and hospital pharmacy (preferred)
• Ability to float between Unit Dose and IV departments
• Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications (including chemo & parenteral nutrition)
• Compound, dispense, and ensure safe handling of medications
• Support investigational drug services & specialized formulations
• Provide clinical consultation on medication therapy
• Participate in pharmacy operations, quality initiatives, and compliance activities
