Description
- Position: Operating Room Nurse (Cardiac/Vascular)
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: Available every Monday
- Interview: Required with Nurse Manager (NM)
Requirements
- Strong cardiac and vascular surgery experience
- Experience with all levels of cardiac and vascular procedures (levels 3 and 4)
- Strong endovascular experience
- Georgia (GA) or Compact RN license must be active and in hand
- Neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotic surgery experience preferred
On-Call Requirements
- 48–60 hours of call every 4 weeks
- Weekend call is mandatory.
- On-call rooms are available at the facility.
- Staff may occasionally be released early if coverage needs change.
Floating Requirements
- Must float to the General OR if needed.
- May float between three campuses:
- Saint Joseph's
- University
- Midtown
- Typically, one day's notice is provided for floating.
- On-call duties remain at the originally assigned location.
Important Details
- Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.
- Strong specialty experience is essential.
