RRT – NICU
 

Schedule

• Contract Length: 52 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday; must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling; preferred schedules are not guaranteed
• Time Off: Christmas time off cannot be approved
• Floating: Required across all units of the Children’s Hospital within the therapist’s scope of practice
• Flu Vaccine: Required; no exemptions

Required Experience

• Level IV NICU experience is mandatory.
• Experience caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
• Must be competent in NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute pediatric care.
• Must be competent with the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A.
• Epic experience is required unless otherwise specified.
• Must be willing to work throughout the Children’s Hospital, including neonatal and pediatric critical care units.

• Minimum experience: 1 year.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS
• NRP
