Description
MRI Technologist – Alaska Regional Hospital
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Shift: Nights, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ARRT certification.
- MRI registration.
- BLS certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MRI-registered technologist with 3+ years of experience.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Patient-focused approach and commitment to high-quality imaging.
EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS
- GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner.
- Epic EMR.
- McKesson PACS.
PROCEDURES PERFORMED
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging.
- Neurology and orthopedic imaging.
- Prostate and breast MRI.
- MRCP.
- Defecography.
- MRI procedures involving anesthesia and pacemakers.
DEPARTMENT DETAILS
- Approximately 185-bed hospital.
- Patient ratio: 1:1.
- No floating required.
- Scrubs: Grey or pewter.
